This is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiprotozoal combination.
Levofloxacin – an antibiotic that kills many types of bacteria causing infections.
Ornidazole – fights protozoa (amoeba, giardia, etc.) and also helps against certain anaerobic bacteria.
Together, they are effective in treating mixed bacterial and protozoal infections, especially in the stomach and intestines.
Doctors may prescribe this medicine for:
Gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea, dysentery due to bacteria or protozoa)
Amoebic dysentery
Giardiasis
Mixed bacterial & parasitic infections
