This is a broad-spectrum deworming medicine for children.
Ivermectin – kills parasitic worms and some external parasites by paralyzing them.
Albendazole – prevents worms from absorbing nutrients, causing them to die and get eliminated from the body.
Doctors may prescribe this combination for:
Intestinal worm infestations (roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, threadworm).
Scabies and other parasitic infections (when combined therapy is needed).
Growth and nutritional issues caused by hidden worm load.
Prevention of anemia and malnutrition due to worms.
